2. How many tests are there in the IELTS test?
Listening, reading, writing and speaking. The first three tests are taken on the same day. The speaking test can be before, after or on the same day as the other three tests.

Academic(A) IELTS test is for those who are planning to further study. General Training IELTS test is for those who aim to immigrate to other countries. Also, a good IELTS band, no matter it is Academic(A) or General Training(GT) IELTS test, is helpful in non-English speaking countries in job markets.

13. How long does it take for me to wait for my test results?
Your results will be posted to you 13 days after you have taken your test. You can also contact the IELTS test center to see if it is possible to get your results online or pick up in person.


14. How long are my IELTS results valid?
The results are valid for 2 years since the day they are issued.


15. Can I get my IELTS test remarked?
Yes, you can. You pay the same price for all 4 skills or just 1 to be remarked.


16. When can I apply for remarking?
There are 6 weeks for you to apply for your test results to be remarked.


17. How can I get my IELTS test remarked?
You can contact your local IELTS test center for remarking. Your test will be remarked by a different examiner. If your band score goes up, you will get a refund of the remarking fee.


18. How long does it take to remark my IELTS results?
About 6 to 8 weeks.


19. My IELTS results have not arrived and it is longer than 13 days late? Why has this happened?

20. Can I choose paper-based test or computer-based test?
Yes, you can have a choice in some test centers. However, the speaking test is a face-to-face one in both paper-based test and computer-based test.
